Developed by accountants for accountants this checklist is a step by step guide on what to do when you need to deliver a Designated Service (DS) as defined by the AML/CTF legislation. It outlines each of the Table 6 DS’s, it has a comprehensive guide of which services we know are DS’s, which ones we know are not and it provides some commentary on the grey areas to guide you to your own decision.

The checklist itself is a 12-step process that walks you through each of the decisions you need to make along the AML/CTF DS journey well before you even log onto your AML/CTF software. Decisions around reliance agreements, previous AML/CTF checks, what type of checks are you getting, the checklist has robust guardrails built in to warn you if some answers are not correct. The checklist is comprehensive and whilst it may not cover every single scenario, it is YOUR checklist to help you work your way through the various steps.
