This calculator is the ultimate tool that compares the remuneration of an employee versus what they would need to earn if they went out on their own as a genuine contractor to ensure the same or similar remuneration. It does not look into the legality of operating as a contractor when the arrangement may be one of employer/employee. Beware sham contracting arrangements!
