Investing in Unit Trusts - A General Guide and Outline of the Rules

Investing in Unit Trusts is complex. There are so many rules in this area including but not limited to the Corporations Act, Trust Law, The Tax Agents Services Act, and in situations involving Superannuation Funds, there is the Superannuation Industry Supervision Act and the requirement to have a holder of an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) to oversee and advise on the set up.
